Who am I? What is the Mission?
About me:​

I am currently in the last semester of my Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration at the Goethe University Frankfurt. My studies focus on Finance and Accounting, with a emphasis on Investment-Theory.

​My Motivation/Mission:
​My interest in the stock market began surprisingly early. At the age of 15, I held my first book on finance in my hands: The Art of Thinking About Money by André Kostolany. It was fascinating to view the world of markets through the eyes of a speculator. However, even back then, I felt that his philosophy did not entirely resonate with me. Kostolany’s approach seemed more focused on short-term speculation rather than a well-founded, long-term strategy.
​It took a few years before I revisited the subject. In 2021, I came across a book that would change my perspective: The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham and David L. Dodd. It felt as though someone had assembled the missing pieces of the puzzle for me. The philosophy, the clear rules, and the rational approach to investing captivated me from the very start.
​From that point onwards, I embarked on an intensive journey. Books like Security Analysis and works about Warren Buffett not only provided me with knowledge but also with inspiration. I delved deeper and deeper into the world of value investing and realised that it’s more than just a method – it’s a mindset that places value and patience at its core.

​The decision to pursue value investing as a profession only matured recently. A particularly influential moment was a conversation I had in early October 2024 with Nils Herzing, the CEO of Shareholder Value Beteiligungen AG. His recommendations, advice, and experiences were gratefully received, and I am now working to implement them in a professional context. He also suggested starting this blog to share knowledge, connect with people in the industry, and discuss new ideas.

My goal is to bring this advise to life by sharing my thoughts, analyses, experiences, and lessons learned with you. Through open and consistent dialogue, I hope we can foster growth and discover new insights together. Over time, this collaborative effort will, I believe, lead to an added and lasting value for both of us.
